E&K Cleaning Service Chicago ("E&K Cleaning," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit maidschicago.com or booking.maidschicago.com, book a cleaning, call or text us, or talk with our AI phone and chat assistant, and how we use and protect that information.
Information We Collect
We collect information you give us directly, including:
- Your name, phone number, email address, and service address
- Details about your home and the cleaning you request (size, service type, preferred date and time, access instructions, and notes)
- Payment information, which is processed by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Messages you send us by text, email, website chat, or phone, including your caller ID (the phone number you call from)
- Information you share during calls or chats with our AI assistant, as described below
When you use our websites, we and our service providers may also automatically collect basic technical information such as your browser type, device type, pages visited, and cookies, as described in the Advertising Measurement section.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Schedule, provide, and confirm your cleaning services
- Answer your questions and handle requests to book, reschedule, or cancel
- Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates, including letting you know when our team is on the way
- Process payments, tips, and receipts
- Plan our teams' routes and arrival times
- Improve our services, website, and customer support
- Measure how well our advertising works
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our business and customers
SMS/Text Messaging
If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may send you appointment confirmations, reminders, on-the-way notifications, and service-related messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver the messages.
AI Phone and Chat Assistant
Some calls to our phone lines and some chats on our website are answered by an automated AI assistant. The assistant tells you it is an AI at the start of the conversation. If you would rather speak with a person, just ask, and our office will call you back during business hours.
How it works. To understand you and respond, what you say is processed in real time by our voice AI provider, its language-model provider, and our telephone carrier. We have configured the assistant so that audio recordings and full transcripts of your conversation are not kept.
What we keep. We keep only the information needed to handle your request: your name, phone number (including caller ID), service address or ZIP code, the details of what you asked for (for example, a booking, reschedule, or cancellation request), and a short written summary of the request. Our office reviews these requests before any appointment is booked or changed.
Verification. Before discussing an existing appointment, the assistant may confirm your identity by matching the phone number you are calling from with the number on file and asking you to confirm details about your service address. We do not use voice identification, and we do not create voiceprints or collect any biometric identifiers.
Advertising Measurement
Our booking page (booking.maidschicago.com) uses a measurement tag provided by OpenAI to help us understand whether our ads lead to booking requests. The tag may use cookies or similar technologies and records that a booking request was submitted. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, street address, payment information, or booking notes to OpenAI through this tag. You can limit cookies through your browser settings.
Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us run our business, such as payment processing, text messaging and email delivery, telephone and AI assistant services, website hosting, scheduling software, and mapping services used to plan our teams' routes. These providers may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
- You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
- You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email.
- You can ask to speak with our office instead of the AI assistant at any time.
- You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, including information collected by our AI assistant, by contacting us below. We may need to keep certain information to complete a service, process payments, or meet legal requirements.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.
